QuickQuote

Terms of service

In force from 30 July 2026. Written in plain English on purpose — if a clause is unclear, ask and I'll rewrite it.

1. Who you're dealing with

QuickQuote is a trading name of Noah Nicholas Coulson, ABN 98 983 308 378, of Newmarket, Queensland 4051, Australia. "We" and "I" mean the same person. "You" means the business that holds the account.

2. What the service is

QuickQuote turns job notes into a priced quote, using material prices collected from published supplier price lists, and sends that quote to your client.

3. The important one: you are responsible for every quote

Check every quote before it goes to your client. QuickQuote produces an estimate from the information you give it and from supplier prices that may have changed. It can get a line wrong. It is a tool that helps you quote; it is not a substitute for your own judgement as a tradesperson.

You decide what to send, you send it, and the contract for the work is between you and your client. We are not a party to it.

4. Supplier prices

We collect prices from suppliers' own published price lists and re-check them regularly. We don't control those prices and can't guarantee a price is current, correct, or that the item is in stock. Every quote shows how old the price data is. If a supplier changes a price or a website between checks, the figure you see may be out of date.

Where a supplier doesn't publish what unit a price is in, we ask you rather than guess. Your answer is remembered for your account only.

5. Your account

Sign-in is by a code emailed to you. Keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can get into your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

One account is for one business. Don't share a login across separate businesses.

6. Your data is yours

Your quotes, clients and settings belong to you. We don't sell them, and we don't use one customer's data to serve another. You can export everything at any time from your account, including after you cancel.

We keep your data for 12 months after cancellation so you can come back or export it, then delete it.

7. Paying

A$200 per month, in Australian dollars. The first 30 days are free and no card is charged during them. After that it bills monthly in advance until you cancel.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Prices exclude GST. This business is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged. If that changes you'll be told before it affects a bill.

8. Cancelling

Cancel any time, from your account or by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-months, but if something has gone wrong, say so — we'd rather sort it out than argue about $200.

After cancelling you can still read and export everything you made. You just can't create or edit new quotes.

9. When we might suspend an account

If a payment fails we'll tell you and keep the account working while it's sorted. We may suspend an account that is being used to break the law, to send spam, or in a way that damages the service for other customers.

10. What we don't promise

We aim to keep the service running and accurate, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It's provided as-is beyond the guarantees below.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, where it would be unlawful to do so. If a consumer guarantee applies and we fail it, our liability is limited — to the extent the law allows — to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

12. Limit of liability

Subject to clause 11, our total liability to you for anything connected with QuickQuote is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, or loss arising from a quote you sent to a client — including a quote that turned out to be priced wrongly. That risk sits with you, which is why clause 3 asks you to check every quote.

13. Changing these terms

If we change anything that matters, you'll get an email at least 14 days first. If you don't like the change, cancel before it takes effect and you won't be charged again.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
